Terms of service

Last updated October 24, 2026. Written in plain English.

The service

IndexPedia checks public web pages, reports problems that affect visibility in search engines and AI assistants, writes and applies fixes you approve, submits pages through IndexNow, and publishes AI Profiles. Search engines and AI assistants make their own decisions; we do not guarantee indexing, rankings, traffic or recommendations.

Your account

Keep your password safe and your contact details current. You are responsible for activity in your account.

Sites you add

Only add and verify sites you own or are allowed to manage. The free site scan and other free tools may be used on any public website, but only to read public pages.

Acceptable use

Do not use IndexPedia to:

  • Load-test, attack or overload any website
  • Get around access controls or limits, including our own fair-use limits
  • Publish false, misleading or unlawful information in an AI Profile
  • Upload files that are not yours to share

Your content

You keep ownership of what you give us. You allow us to use it to provide the service, for example to check your pages or publish your AI Profile. You are responsible for the accuracy of the business details you publish.

Plans and payments

Free and paid plans have the limits shown on the pricing page. Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time. The AI Profile is a one-time purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe. We may change prices or limits with notice to account holders.

Auto-fix and changes to your site

Auto-fix changes only what you approve, on pages you approve, and can be switched off at any time. You remain responsible for your site and should review fixes before switching them on.

Availability

We work to keep IndexPedia running every day, but the service is provided as is, without warranties, and may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control.

Limits of responsibility

To the extent the law allows, IndexPedia is not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits or traffic, arising from use of the service.

Ending use

You can stop using IndexPedia at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or misuse the service.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use IndexPedia after a change means you accept the updated terms.
